Erkin Göçmen began his career as a medical doctor in 1994.  Göçmen is also a graduate of the School of Law and has been working as an attorney since 2006.  He has represented companies, associations, unions and individuals in judicial departments, councils, departments and institutions. From 2006 to 2016, Göçmen lectured at Ahmet Yesevi University, Atılım University and Gazi university. From 2014 to 2018, he worked as a board member of the Turkish Health Tourism Association.
